This is an exciting time to join Urgentem!

We recently launched Element6, a climate-risk platform which provides a holistic vantage point of company emissions with an array of forward-looking analytics and data for risk management purposes. The new technology platform enables Urgentem’s clients to clearly understand their portfolio emissions and climate risks, meet regulatory and fiduciary reporting requirements and navigate the transition to a sustainable economy.


Our Advisory mandates are also rapidly growing, as we consult clients on low carbon investment strategies (e.g. using concepts like avoided emissions) or climate risk stress testing frameworks.


In just a few months we have enjoyed client wins including Central Banks, Pension Funds, Global Asset Managers and Hedge Funds. We work with major players in the Finance industry to enable a transition to a low-carbon future, by advising on climate risk management and opportunity generation.

Due to the launch and expansion of Urgentem’s cutting-edge products, such as our award-winning Element6 Climate Risk Platform, Urgentem is looking for a new Consultant to join the Advisory Team. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop their career with a dynamic eco-fintech company.

You should have a strong affinity for sustainability and Climate Finance. Knowledge and experience of Climate Finance is strongly preferred as the role will involve discussing climate data methodologies, analytics and regulatory initiatives with customers. As a small, motivated team with a flat structure, the opportunities to learn, create an impact and grow your role within the organisation are considerable.


  • Work with the Head of Advisory on execution of consulting projects

  • Demonstrate data methodologies and analytics capabilities to prospects and clients

  • Manage relationships with current clients 

  • Demonstrate the Element6 Climate Risk Platform to potential customers

  • Ensure KPI Delivery

  • Work with other teams to meet customer data/analytics requests


  • At least 2 years of consulting experience

  • A degree in economics, finance or sustainability/climate change

  • Experience in a climate finance/ESG based role 




  • Knowledge in dealing with climate risk data (e.g. GHG emissions) and analytics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good knowledge of Excel

  • Confident at communicating with high-level decision makers

  • Proven track record in delivering results and KPIs

  • Proactive and self-motivated 

  • Professional, well organised and prepared

  • Ability to use own initiative

  • Effective time management skills

  • Focused and target driven team player


  • Become an expert in the field of climate risk data and analytics

  • Manage time and resources effectively and work to targets
